Poetry Corner: Bubbles

Another night in Ogygia for seven years.
Craziness, laughter, songs, and tears.
Days pass like hours, hours pass like minutes.
Fear of a conventional life.
Chilled by things he cannot do.
Exhilarated by things ancient and new.
First, ageless goddess minus the years,
At times, some signs can heal the fears.
Second, protected by something unrevealed.
Attracted to her forbidden appeal.
We've captured you through smiles and presence.
Both loving and cursing the things that we do.
Taking risks and playing with trouble.
He blows most delicate bubbles.
Don't worry so much when the novelty wears off
The depth of the substance will keep the appeal.
Because beyond the lust and affinity he cares so much,
although there be lacking true bliss, kiss, or touch.
Out of the portal of Never Accepting Land
The spark of intensity has gripped his hand.
Accept warm feelings
from two strangers for now.
Long for a night without end somehow.
Don't pretend this can't all blow away,
like those delicate bubbles at the end of the day.
When we plot a new spell be prepared to dance.
Come with us and take a chance.
It may be the end, it may be the start,
that lead you to the light of a joy filled heart.
